Signature Event Request :3

Title: Signature Battle! (01/02/2013) (DD/MM/YYYY)

Body: Well.. seeing so many nice Signatures around the Forum made me want to compare them to each other, but that's hard to do when each Image used is different. So I thought we could make a little Event that would work like that:

Based on Uehara's awesome idea (Thanks!) This is how the Event should work better and be fair for every participant.

A Staff Member will post some Renders of his own Choice, 5 Different Renders(Real Life, Game, Anime Characters, anything!), and create a Public Poll for all the Players to choose. When the Voting is finished, all Participants will have to use the winning Render to make a Signature (Any size, just not larger than 500x200 please as it's against the Rules).

Once done with the Signature, they will send it to the Staff Member who created the Event Through PM, anyone posting it Publicly and/or telling others which one his/her Signature is, asking for Votes, will be Disqualified.

After the Deadline (Let's make it 3 days? 4?), the Staff Member will post all the Signatures and make a Poll asking the Players which one they like the most, without posting the Names of the Creators however, they have to be Anonymous till the Voting is Finished. Make the voting last for another 2 days or 3 so everyone will see it hopefully.

Now the Prizes, well.. I don't want to ask for too Much , I'd better leave this to the Staff.

I'd really love to see everyone's Style/Skill, that would inspire me alot and help me start making Signatures and other stuff with Photoshop myself :3 Seeing many different signatures made with the same render will give me a large variety of ideas to choose from! :d

This is a good idea. Although I may suggest some changes if you really want fairness on this one.

After choosing the render, participants will then make their own creations. When done, they will send their entry (yes, instead of posting it on the event thread itself) to the event host through PM. After reaching the deadline, the host will make a poll with all the entries in it WITHOUT the names of who made which. You see, it's a common thing around here to vote for your friends' work or someone popular, not because it is good but simply because he/she is a friend or they idolize him/her, etc. and I don't see any fairness on that. And I think leaving the honest voting to the community would be more fun and will have more meaning. This way as well, they hide the identity of who made the signature + someone can keep the originality of his/her work. Meaning, this method will prevent people from copying other people's style.

As of this method, there should be a punishment to those who will break the rules about them being an anonymous. So whoever tells their friends in forum (in a PM or in a post so yeah, they better be careful to try fishing voters) like "Mine is entry #4 vote for me" gets to be disqualified at the same time infracted or maybe banned for a period of time LOL!

Well, if they really want to cheat there will always be a way and we cannot keep them from doing what they want. I have considered this thing and I don't think they would go to great lengths like asking each and every forumers' Skype/YM/MSN ID just to send them a PM to vote for their entry. But if one will go this low, I think that alone can be considered cheating already. During the period of voting, whoever from the participants list send PMs to the members of the community asking their Skype/MSN/YM should be suspected for fishing voters (what else could it be for?). Well, they can tell their friends to vote for them but not all the people who will vote are their friends, right?
