Sin and WOC 2 , worth it?

I was wondering is woc2 really that necessary for a sin. Ppl buy woc2 mainly because of the att speed buff, 20% i think. And sin can hit the cap with his flurry when needed. So i dont really see the point of spending 7k VP or so, just to get capped all the time. What are your opinions, am i missing something?

 

Up to you. I would rather run Wings of the Circle L2 and not worry about Flurry cooldown for full damage output. Of course you can have both to counter Attack Speed Reduction debuffs. I think the wings are always worth it.

 

Dont get me wrong, woc2 are the best wings in game, + i would get them for every single class, just not fot sin

 

But for me sin is no need that woc 2. because sin's attack speed is fast + there buffs. so its up to you.

 

If your comfortable with your attack speed without woc2 then you should be fine

However if you're fighting a class that can remove buffs from you such as spiritmaster and songweaver I wouldn't count on relying on that attack speed buff as It can easily be debuffed that's why woc2 is always better you don't got to rely and remembering to buffing every fight and waiting on cool downs and woc2 obviously isn't a buff so therefore can't be debuffed.

 

It is important for Sins, yet not the most important investment for them so the decision is up to you. (Getting better Dagger/Sword is more worthy). Sin's reliance on having low aspd is mainly for weaves, which are part of the DPS. As others mentioned, the chances of debuff is quite often. Thus having a backup can be beneficial.

In comparison to other classes, Assassins can live without WoC2 because they do have Flurry option to achieve the same results. Also Burst types like QD builds wouldn't matter as much. Other class like Gladiators (excluding their DP) and Templars don't have an Attack speed buff and thus would be of greater importance for them.

 

You don't actually need flurry, dagger/sword can hit the cap with a title. The main problem there as others have mentioned are the debuffs. Personally flurry isnt on my skillbar, i have way too many skills already and that's a useless one that i dont put in there.

If you are a sword/sword user then your attack speed would be pretty high even with a title, flurry would be a must. But i think dagger/sword is a better combination, the benefit of the extra attackspeed greatly outweighs the benefit of that extra damage that you would get from a sword. I'd hate to be a sin with s/s and count on flurry and use it every single time i was in hide (remember, you can only buff 2 and 3 times respectively when hidden).

In the end it is up to you, if i were to chose.. id first get a good pair of weapons and accessories, then woc2 and then an arbiter set in that order (for a sin). But for any other melee class, id focus on getting the woc2 first, and then the rest leaving the accessories for last.

I myself use dagger/sword. And you just proved my point. Better to get good acc and such than spend a lot of VP on woc2. glad we share the same opinion Btw, what title?

 

Woc1 + 1.5k title (daddy long legs for example) + scroll = 3.5k credits = woc2
Or permanently using candy instead of a title..

 

Slayer Form will be cancelling it all the time so you'll need 2s cooldown candies if anything.

Using WOC2 is awesome, I gues Assasin with woc1 is cool they can hit fast without WOC2!

Do you think sin will use MR build? Have you seen a Ranger w/ MR build? Maybe a temp, glad, cleric chanter, SM or sorc, but not for Ranger an Sin, they are dps

Evasion rangers was the go-to meta on You-Know-WhatAion for a looot of time. It ain't even weak.

 

Yes, I do think Sins will use MR. Infact they can reach pretty high MR with Slayer Form+Sensory Boost.
MR builds is less meaningful on Rangers but like Razor mentioned, Evasion was a popular build for them in the past.
