Slotted Manastone Reset/Wipe

This, this so much. Back when I was full MR, i resisted most of the magical attacks, but now that I'm not I'm still able to block and parry some

 

Just saying, only possible way to wipe manastones that people have already socketed would be to remove the gear itself, or forcefully make them go to a manastone remover and make them remove it.

I read the OP, and some of the replies.

Are you trying to wipe all manastones from the game, and make everyone farm them again?
or
Are you trying to wipe all socketed manastones and make people socket again?

I'd be all for wiping socketed ones, but im not so sure on all the ig ones as I have a lot that I personally farmed. QQ

well if they fix it and... they will make the success rate of enchanting stones 100% then its ok w/ me.

I think a better solution would be to do a database search for people with over exaggerated stats or above normal (more than any fully stocked character) and just wipe those.

I know there are plenty of players out there with this godly armor pieces and I can tell when I fight them (no buffs on) yet they get to resist everything and take very little damage and they somehow never seem to miss a spell.

It's quite frustrating but for as much as I'd love to support your idea, more than 90% of the population have their own legit manage stocked gear (no overstacked gear) and it would be entire unfair for us to lose everything we've struggled so hard to get and upgrade.

I believe there are other ways to check for these individuals rather than just do a wipe.

 

I don't think the staff has the time or patience to search the entire database. I'm sure it's just a "scroll down till you find big numbers" kinda thing, but I can't imagine how large the database of players is.

But still, I think staff should just hear the reports players make and check for abnormal stats. That should be enough.

 

Not really, doing a database query for a value range is fast and since we know what the maximum value of a given stat is (with full manastones socketed on a full armor), it's not that hard.

Trust me, there's nothing impossible for a programmer and finding these stats (values) it's a piece of cake. I'm sure that if the staff (Carl or whoever manages the database) wanted to do it, they could do it.

I will vote for manastones wipe.
Today I was in a party with a Gladiator at inggi to kill asmos. He has without any buff alone 16k HP. could tank 4 ppls alone because of his HP and Parry and he still could deal alot of dmg. (you can't be perfect allround of everything even if you have full ABG set)
I won't post any SS or video to proof because that person will know who I am talking about. And i'm not a pig to report him and wish him getting banned.
A wipe of all overstacked manastones or gears in whole server should decrease those with over powered stats and it will definitely bring back balance. Surely I will be hated because of this but it has to be done.

And i thought some people had that lvl 45 assassin gear thing that gives super m.resist
That explains why some cool cleric i met could penetrate through my 2.556 m.resist while at the same time he could resist 5/6 of my spells...
I'm not going to mention about the name , just saying...

I thought when they fixed this bug , the items were fixed too. If what chloe says is true.. that could be a huge problem. And a profit to manastone traders/dupers lol.
A wipe would be good in this case.

Wiping all manastones and adding two surveys to every character would be good. (= no profit for dupers/manastone sellers lol)
The first survey would contain 100 from each manastone type , you would be able to pick 200 (2 types of manastones , e.g. 100 m.acc and 100 m.res)
The second survey would contain greater supplements so the ppl will be able to socket their gears again and not end up wasting 50 manastones on each piece ><

However , i know for a fact that the survey thing won't happen. rofl

 

You r right , I have met some players who got crazy stat . such as crazy glad with high MR and high MA and really High dmg how the hell could be possible with only one set O.O (and It's only one Example) , and when I ask Gm to check their stat I get no answer so i wish this suggestion could be done .

 

Aint that hard to farm manastones all over again, there is no need to be lazy either.... i go for the wipe.
