Small Latency Spikes

Hi,

I am able to play GamezBD with roughly 40-50 ms on average. However every 10-15s I will encounter a 2s latency spike where I am still able to move but nothing else updates. This results in the game speeding up super fast to catch up to where I should have been i.e. mobs all die at same time after I attacked them during the lag spike.

This results in very strange behavior in PvP where people see my character freeze for 2s and then teleport wildly around until the server catches up with me.

I did a tracert and have 13 hops with the 11th and 12th timing out.

GamezBD is the only game that is doing this for me right now and I would appreciate any help & suggestions on how to fix.

 

Are you using a wireless connection? If so, try connecting to your network via Ethernet (wired). If you don't happen to have a wired connection available, try connecting to a different wireless hotspot and see if the problem is solved.

 

I am using ethernet. Connecting from Canada.
