[SOLVED] [Character Display Error]

i have tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling the client... but this problem stays... there are no error whatsoever upon installation...
my character and all the npcs show up as a bunch of lines... =(
i dont know what went wrong...

and the problem still stays =(... i've checked my pc for viruses and found none....

Viruses have nothing to do with the problem you are encountering. Unfortunately it is video card related issue.

 

is there anything i could do to exactly pinpoint the problem and fix it...? like, to see what's wrong with the video card..
since i never had any problem with any other application... =(
i used to play on OF and it used to be just fine... never knew what went wrong..

okay problem solved.....
turned out that even if Windows 'determined' my driver software is "up to date", it is in actuality 60 months old... (i need to check this manually using Nvidia updater app, that i grabbed from Nvidia website)
so i updated my driver to current (the 2017-09-21 update) and it solved the problem..

thanks for telling me that the problem is video card related, that narrowed my search for solution by a lot
