Something that bothers me with armor remodels

Alright so the thing I dont understand is why the fact that im a clothe user means I cant remo to the other types of armor?
why should that be? while a glad can remo to any other armor.
I know its non retail-like but its not like this server tries to have a retail feel so i really see any reason why Sorcerer and SMs should be forced to only use clothes remos...
Unless ofc the game doesnt support something like that completely and it would be impossible to have an item.pak to fix it...

 

alright lots of misinformation here so lets take it one at a time

1. glads cant remodel to whatever they want. every class can only use armors of their own type (plate to plate, chain to chain etc). the "cloth" is a costume which is a separate category everyone can use and is used to remodel armor tops to change your entire appearance
2. this server actually tries to get a retail like feel, which is one of the reasons why many suggestions never take place. even though it is a high rate pvp server, they try preserve most retail like features
3. the items.pak edit is possible and easy to do. i actually did it in the past, but the server has server side restrictions (which aren't hard to remove, i could tell the devs how but pretty sure they know already)

one reason for this is to preserve lore to some point and avoid class confusion, such as a guy running up to you in plate armor and tossing mage nukes from a distance while you prepare for a melee close range fight

 

hmm i guess ur right, i was sure plate users were able to change to whatever they wanted but guess i just confused this server to Infinite Aion, where glads really did use to wear cloth armor...

They can wear it all just glass though
