Start-Up problem

Hey guys, I don't know if this is the right place, but when I start up the GamezAion.exe it takes it awhile and then I get

"Warning:

Check your Internet connection and then try again."

I've made Exceptions in my AV and my Firewall

 

Downloaded in North-america region ?
Lastest client?

Not sure what the fix is for this.

 

Is your internet down?

Mine popped that up when it was down yesterday.

Erm, work computer, or the error popped up an hour ago, and he hasn't retried since then?

Set myself to North American Region, Downloaded, Updated.

And I already stated, I made an Exception in my Firewall.

 

You got the latest Directx 9.0c + latest graphics drivers?

thx guys but this is caused by the annoying autoupdater in the new launcher which isnt even necessary so u can bypass it with the older ones

or bypass the launcher altogether and run the game using a bat file

the game itself will work, its just an updater problem from gamez ^^

 

just keep trying.
If an error pops up saying 'gamez updater is already running,' open task manager and locate updater.exe, terminate, and run the launcher again.

edit:
If the above don't work, try restarting your pc and running Gamez launcher in admin.

they really fail when it comes to launchers, im using the old one from august 2010 just fine (its the first one i linked here)

they replaced it with an infected launcher for no reason, then replaced that with the one we have now that causes problems for people with the "updater already running" and "check your connection" errors

seriously dont understand why they touched a perfectly working launcher >.>
