Steel Wall Bastion Battlefield is a 24v24 PvPvE instance where the objective is to strategically capture points, collect resources and utilize siege machines to overtake the opposing team and defeat Supreme Commander Pashid. The team with the most points at the end of the event wins!
This page will act as a guide for players who are new to the instance, and will explain the basics of the instance; map layout, icon meanings, items and how they are used and the basic uses for different siege machines.

The map is very similar to the PvE instance, Steel Wall Bastion, in regards to its layout. It is different in a few key ways, however; there are different spawn points for Asmodians and Elyos, and there are camps across the area that grant the conquering team points when the Commander of each area is eliminated and they are captured. Capturing a point will spawn friendly NPC units in the area, and grant the conquering faction different benefits based on the location that is taken.

As seen on the map provided, there are 10 camps in total that can be captured by either faction. Once a camp is captured, the enemy faction can claim it for their own by eliminating the Commander inside just the same as if it were Balaur. As the event progresses, several different icons will appear on the map.

There are 2 main types of siege weapons; the Auxiliary Flame Tank and the Auxiliary Siege Tank. Both of these serve important functions in the instance, so choose how and when you use them wisely. In addition to these siege weapons, there are stationary Artillery weapons found on the battlements of the Steel Wall Bastion, as well as special weapons that can be activated via control levers which are found in certain camps on the map.

There are two key items in this instance that need to be gathered from the different types of Supply Chests found throughout the map. The Siege Projectile, and the Fuel for Siege Tanks. Supply chests come in various forms, from the chests found hidden around the map to special Supply Drops that appear in certain camps and near team spawn points. Searching for these and looting the contents not only helps your team, it can also hinder the enemy team. Manage resources carefully however, as they will not last forever!

Go forth now, brave Daeva, and conquer the Steel Wall Bastion Battlefield. Strategize, cooperate and seize control of this new instance to gain Glory as well as a chance at the ever elusive Kroban Accessory Box.
