Stuck at login screen

Ok, let me explain my situation:

I decided to play Aion, and wanted to play directly on this private server without any playtime on the original. So i downloaded and installed the NCSOFT launcher, fully updated the original game, then installed the GamezAion launcher and updated it.
I was able to log in and play, but i couldn't see my body - the character was rather invisible. I found out this was a common issue and followed the instructions on this post http://forum.gameznetwork.com/f64/[guide]-downgrade-4-0-3-7-3-5-0-12-a-152958/ about how to downgrade to 3.5.0.12.
Now when I try to log in, I enter my id and password, accept the terms, and then it comes to a blank (slightly) moving background screen forever (I've been waiting for 5 minutes, but as my CPU nor HDD were doing nothing, I gave up)

Any ideas how to fix this please?
I'd really like to play this game ..

That guide is outdated, we re now running on 4.0, you need to do file repair as taranta said.

 

Update with the NClauncher again, we're running Aion 4.0 so you'll be good if you fully update. Now about the missing bodies, to fix this you need to actually let it fully update your game (download and apply all 9 stages).

 

All of those stages were downloaded and I didn't see my body anyways... Could be that I was impatient and ran the GamezAion launcher before those stages were complete and finished them after ... maybe it messed up the files a little.
I'm updating it viac NCLauncher now - cannot click the File Repair button, so I think I'll just let it finish.

Alright, I did what you said:

Ran the NCLauncher, the file repair and eventually the GamezAion launcher, where I hit the update button... It said i can play, but at the splash screen after about 30s I get error: "Failed to initialize the game"

.. what should I do now ?

Alright ! Problem solved !

For those with same problem: The "Aion(1024) Failed to initialize the game" error was solved by deleting L10N folder from Aion and letting it repair itself ( using file repair on NCLauncher). After that just simply start the gamez launcher, update and play

Bodies are OK now, no waiting time on login screen, everything works fluently
