Let's make it plain and simple.
Alente did ALL the work.
When I say ALL I mean management of the server , updates , restarts and all kind of assistance while that emo chick messed up everything.
There was still a bit of hope with Alente here to get that tons of bugs fixed but now it's gone.
Gamezaion will be dead soon.

knowing that the source code is dead already we just need to sit wait and see whats gonna happen

 

I'll just sit and watch how will this server be without active coders like Alente. Restart? Ok Carl can do it. Just a simple "//sys restart 300 300" command I also can do it, if I were given the authority, which means everyone can do it. But no, we are not talking about server restart problem. It's about updates, bug fixes, feature, and others. Server now still has many bugs. And if it's not getting fixed, real players will eventually left and Gamez will only has players that don't know what's happening around them.

So donators keep on hoping that server will be still in a good condition. No offense here, but I know how your feelings about spending all your money for nothing. If I were you, I'd think, "I'd have spent it for something more useful if I knew it will be like this".

Because they're humans. Humans tend to forget the positive and only look at the negative. A person could be really really nice all the time and the moment they slip up and do something ****ed up, everyone forgets everything that person has done and only pays attention to the mistake they made.

Including myself. But I always try to remind myself of the positive and try to keep an optimistic mindset. Try it guys.

Once and for all Alente wasn't a coder and a real dev neither and he admitted that on the forums.He was just a copy and paste dev but he was doing pretty well.

As u said WAS, now put your ass and teddies ass in getting the patches and help patching the server.

Don't you guys understand that Alente isn't the only person in the world who can develop aion private servers? There would be heaps of other who can, maybe we would be able to get someone from AE, who knows? We will get past this road block for sure

Yes, I'm sure people with access to the code are a dime a dozen, and I'm sure at least one of them will want to help Gamez out, even though he gets absolutely nothing out of it, except drama.

 

Yes I know but to look for someone like him? If there's a bunch of "Alente" type person, it wouldn't be that difficult to 'get past the road block'. And before Alente back that time, I didn't see anyone that do all that job except Carl. So we really need a person like Alente. Not to restarting the server, but to keep the server less bug and up to date, and frequently.

And AFAIK, AL is now has became closed source project. So it won't be that easy like before, where we just have to run the SVN to update the source, then compile it. I just hope Carl will be able to keep up the work or find another person if he's too busy with his real life.

Anyway I also think that this server will have a long time before completely dead. It's just it will have slower progress.
