    Supply and demand is basic. Supply goes down the demand goes up. Server goes down more people whine they want to get on it. I support a simple restart everyday. It's not like he's doing Calculus here and again most private servers already come with preset .cfg files that already have the built in restart capabilities.

    The crashes are occurring very frequently again and thus I am going to bump this thread.

    Adding an reboot script is easy poo, c'mon carl!

    Eh, it would severely affect the server if an auto-restart was implemented, sure it's an easy script, but Restarts take up a whole lot of time, not like a small scale server where a server can restart in about 2 minutes, it takes about an hour. That's why when the server crashes it takes so long to get back up. Sure a normal server restarting every 12 hours is fine, but with this it has to load the entire aion world, and playspace for 6000 players. So it would cause more anger than content if he put an auto-restart. It COULD work, you would just have to wait a ridiculous amount of time from restart to startup.
