T9 awakening

First off I'd like to clarify if T9 awakening is currently implemented as there seems to be some confusion.
Just as important, does the base speed of the horse transfer to the T9 as intended? I am hoping to awaken a T9, if the base speed of the horse is randomized during awakening there is no point in choosing a fast horse with less skills. If the base speed is retained (like it is on retail) I'd make sure to breed a pure white.

 

I wish I could tell you. I'm already on 25FS and I still don't have a T9 horse.

 

It all seem to make its stats randomly. But i can say that Instant accel works totaly different with t9 than t8. Feels much faster ( also mentioned ad retail patch notes one day ).
I did mine t9 with 4 FS.

 

Can someone confirm that the horse used for T9 does not matter? I've finally got a great one lined up, but it's going to take lots of pearls to get ready for T9. I'd gladly spend them if it's worth it.
