Taloc's Hollow quest question

So I'm trying to do the Taloc's Hollow quest chain, "Friends for Life." Did I miss something along the line? Another quest beforehand or anything that isn't obvious to me since I can't seem to get in. Here are screenies of the two messages I get that pop up. Any help on which way I'm supposed to go from here would be appreciated. I have the om nom nom treats and everything. I just don't know what I'm lacking to fit my butt in the tree.

 

dont u need the siel weapon quest? it was the only one to let me get into talloc

 

i have that quest and I cant enter either daax.

I did a search about it yesterday and people on crystalaion said they had bugs about the full inventory. They all seemed to be pretty random problems with the entrance to it. Some could get in with one character, but not another, and so on. I just thought I was missing something that would let me go in. I got the fruit, tugged on that trees branches and everything, but still he just won't put out for me outy:
