Tattoos & Pictures.

Hey guys! I was just around and felt like starting a thread about it. Do you guys like tattoos? I personally love them (mostly the Tribal style of tattoos)! Right now I have 3. I'll start with the very first one I got. Here we go >>>


This one was made like... 3 years ago I think. Back when I was 17 hehe.
When I finally got it finished (and started goin to gym from time to time lol) it looked something like this >>

That next to me is a super cool friend of mine that sings @ at club I love goin to.

i wanna make a tribal but never checked the prices.. maybe it's expensive

 

Not as much as you think. If you work you can definetly afford it

 

yeah... i am a student i saw some tatoo shops in the city i studie.. i have to ask more information. i have to be cool for summer

 

i have the feeling of doing one on my arm... but i dont know, permanent stuff does not sit well with me. They are pretty cool though, some are amazing. Yet there is a balance, I find repulsive those people that tatto their entire bodies... each its own i guess.

no offense to meanz and the rest who like tribals, but i find tribals the most lamest tattoo ever.(my opinion)

 

On where I got my tattoos (Philippines), very affordable and artists are not just some random guys but licensed, award winners and works in a popular tattoo shop (Skinworkz. Well, if you want a clean and safe session you better go to such shops instead of going to some random places a friend of yours recommended). Mine was made by a known tattoo artist in the Philippines that works at Skinworkz, same goes with my husband's. I still got plans on having more but I will have them when I get back to the Philippines (currently living here in Greece).

Actually, I did ask many artists here how much would it cost for a half sleeve tattoo (been eager to have one)... When I knew how much I decided to rather keep the money then when I get back to Philippines I'll have myself a full back instead which is same price LOL!!

I am fond of cross as a design. It means something to me aside of Faith (not going to state it since it's a very long story). The one on my left arm is the combination of my name and my husband's which is written in ancient characters/letters from my country.

I understand you completly! Many people say tribals have no meaning and they find them pointless and stuff. I personally think tattoos are just like painting. An art. Tattoos in some ways describe every person that has them. Me.. I just like tribals mostly. No specific reason why, it just looks good to me. But I also have something else that i'm planning to showing later on

Very true My uncle once told me (a retired tattoo artist) to never have a design that doesn't have any meaning to you. That is why before I had my very first tattoo, it took me ages to find a great design. I had to face all the trials in my life to realize what design to have on my very first tattoo

Tattoos, when you get old, it will always be there. And even you have it removed the mark will always stay. Tattoo is a representation of something you want to remember for the rest of your life. For me it is not just an art marked on my body but a remembrance. A reminder for whatever it is I should be reminded of. And it is something I can look at and smile afterwards because seeing it brings me joy

I respect others' belief about tattoos. Modern time and lifestyle makes it seem to have lesser meaning but it actually doesn't.

 

Spoken like a wise woman. I completly agree with you, but I have my reasons for not wanting some of my tats to have no meaning. Actually I've been making plans for like atleast 2 more tats of a different kind but haven't decided exactly what it will be yet.

 

i have to make a tatto that says 8am to remind me to wake everyday that hour xD

 

Or maybe, it is something to remind you that there was a point in your life that 8am was a very important time
