Teminon - Wallshooters

I don't have any intention to offend you or whatever, but I think the rule that was broken there was the rule of Logical Thinking. Let's put it in a more realistic perspective: you're standing in a mall boutique then suddenly the person right next to you gets all wet because someone from behind the wall was playing with his water gun. I mean, what's the purpose of having a WALL around Teminon FORTRESS if anyone could snipe you LEGALLY?

Well if you're sane and mentally healthy it is that big of a deal. What would you feel if you were a high ranking officer, let's say a Great General, and you were looking at the NPC's to find out how many AP's you still need to buy an armor/weapon. Then out of nowhere, you get killed by a sorc using Shadowburst/Lightburst on you. You lost, let's say, 80k AP. So now you have to hunt for those lost AP and for the deficit.

-I bothered making an example because this is JUST PURE COMMON SENSE. What's the sense of having a wall around your house if people could still shoot you from the outside.

yeah thats true,they are really boring..but now asmos/elyos are more carefull when attack from behind doors..I've see a lot of templars invite them inside the fortress for a coffee ^_^

 

Yes. It is a big deal. It is an exploit that has been discuss on this forum numerous times AND IS NOT ALLOWED!

A good screenshot will result in a ban.

 

I did fight back. Went outside, pressed all-seeing eye and owned them.
I've already lost 40k ap due them. I'm not doing this for the AP numbers. I'm not stacking AP. But somebody does...
Governors loose 180k not 40k tho.

 

Now my question to you is, why would anyone care this much about AP? That's what I mean by it's really not all that serious. This is just a game after all. A cheaters mindset? That's just battle logic. Whatever is dished out to you gets dished out right back.

Also, if you're really that concerned about AP why don't you just get a group of other players and hunt your enemies for those lost points?

P.S. Walls weren't made for you to be protected from shooters, but for reasons like privacy...etc.

i suggest developers to increase agro range of sentinels from teminon and primum landings!
or maybe add a shield retail-like!....less that 100 m from main base=death!

Did you really read my reply or did you just browse through it? Some people do care about AP's because this makes the game more progressive. You farm AP's and at the end of the day you check your how many do you still need to buy an armor/weapon.

Oh and BTW, you're totally missing the point man. This discussion is about abusing a game glitch which is shooting through walls. And it's like you're trying to say it's Okay to steal because someone stole from you or it's Okay to kill someone, IRL, so long as you shoot them through walls.

And by saying this "P.S. This is easy. Believe me, this is really easy. But I will make my point more emphasized by asking you this; what would you feel if a HACKER killed you and you just lost 180k AP? (let's presume you're a governor)

Would you apply this principle of yours?

The same just happenend to me .I was trying to buy something and Bam , got killed by fking laserarrows flying through every material and shit .

I'm not saying that I approve of wall shooters, but that it's really not that big of a deal since people already hunt opposing factions all day & accumulate enough AP as it is. Since you guys think that it's such a big deal I'll acknowledge the fact that it's serious in the eyes of some players. You were talking about a hacker at one point which would put this topic on a totally different level.

Honestly, walls really weren't made for protection from gunmen. It's an added protection from having walls, but not the reason for which they were built.

 

And arrows werent build to go through walls :w00t:

 

Unless they were super awesome heat seeking arrows...

Guys....still QQ about it? Instead report just respond to fire,make a templar - pull them inside and fight them, i saw people doing it and trust me asmos/elys now think it twice before go near walls....yesterday i saw a sorcer army governor pulled inside and killed..was from "dressed to kill" guild if i remember well...
The solution is simple, dont QQ - let them fly over base e dont attack them trough wall, BUT IF THEY do, respond to fire...All happy...

 

nah, reporting them is funnier because they will be sent to jail
