The stock computer has i3 2.9 GHz and 8 gigs of RAM with it. I just slapped a 550Ti on it. Consistent 45-50 FPS, and the card never hits anything above 50 degrees.

I'm not on the KR server lol, I've been playing the NA CBT's.

Also, I have 50~ screenshots to upload once CBT 5 is over, that number may grow a bit in the next few hours.

 

So that last post of mine? Complete bullshit. I didn't want to exaggerate how many screenshots I had taken so I guessed 50. Turns out that even after a bit of pruning, the actual count was 205.

So I have 205 screenshots for you guys, and maybe a few more if I decide to upload more of my day 1 screenshots.

Due to the gigantic amount of screenshots (and the fact that I think they're all visually unique and deserve to be shown, not just pruned down to 8 to show off on Gamez), I uploaded them into Imgur albums.

I also fully expect that several of these are worthy of use in signatures, wallpapers, and general TERA photomanipulation, and that a few will be used as such, so to save you guys time I'm going to give a few short descriptions on each album link as I ordered all the albums by zone.

If you're unfamiliar with imgur, I ordered the albums so you will see one high-resolution screenshot at a time and thumbnails of the other. I suggest using the "Next" button (hover over the current image and it will show up on the right side of the image) to view more screenshots instead of clicking the thumbnails.
If you want to see the image in high resolution, hover over it and click the magnifying glass icon with a + inside of it in the top right corner of the image.

Velika - (6 Images) Basic area surrounding the first city you get to. Nothing special to see really. Very rocky theme.

Fey Forest - (27 images) Hilly mountainside area. Very serene with lots of rivers, creeks and waterfalls. Full of dark green hues. This is the first area you quest in after leaving the beginner island.

Oblivion Woods - (8 images) Similar to Fey Forest but much darker. Borders Fey Forest and is the next zone you quest in after Fey Forest.

Valley of the Titans - (9 images) Very rocky, mountainous terrain. Has several large structures in it which would appear to be titans, or their creations. Seems to be the next quest area after Oblivion woods.

Celestial Hills - (10 images) Very hilly as the name would suggest. Has an autumnal theme to it. Seems to be the next quest area after Valley of the Titans.

Greater Poporia - (20 images) 10/10. Has much more of a dark, mystical feeling to it. Full of blue and orange hues. Home of the capital of both Popori and Elin, Pora Elinu. Lots of beautiful flora, as well as a bit of a cursed/halloween type theme going on in certain spots of the area. Most of the screenshots are taken in the Lake of Tears sub-zone of Poporia, but the album itself contains multiple zones of Poporia.

Greater Castanica (Ostgaroth) - (22 images) There are many zones contained in this album. Includes a few shots of the Castanic capital city and home, Castanica. Landscape varies from jungles and coastline to the dark city of Castanica and the volcanic area of Fyrmount at the very northernmost part of the area.

Mistmoor Island - (17 images) Another zone in the Ostgaroth area. As the name implies, its an island and as such has a very tropical feel to it.

Serpentis Isle - (34 images) Yet another island in the Ostgaroth area. Has much more of a tribal/shamanistic feel to it.

Aurum - (45 images) This is the last zone I got to preview. Most of it is desert, with some bazaars here and there and some broken down ruins all around. Very beautiful landscape for being a desert area.


and last but not least...I decided to have a bit of fun with a BAM (Big-Ass Monster) that was 21 levels higher than me at the end of Aurum...I didn't end well.

Question: How does the PVP works in Tera?? Seems like the emphasis is on killing monsters and raiding instances.

 

TERA has Battlegrounds (5 vs 5, 10 vs 10), and open world pvp (pk). They are still tweaking the battlegrounds so it won't be available during release date. Also, they are working on Server vs Server wars. TERA will be epic when they implement all the updates in the future.
