I mean I know most people in this thread have great writing skills and excellent grammar, but I don't know exactly which part is "smart language" in your eyes xD. The use of different words you're not used to I guess? :3

Nobody here is going to be an Astronaut and nobody here is going to be stupid enough to ever seriously act like they are. I don't think the "I won't believe you" part was even necessary for that.

Anyway - Sure, some people lie about certain things on the internet, and its dumb when they do, but why are you so offensive to Ryan over what he says about his intelligence? Hes not calling himself a genius, hes simply saying he makes good grades and stuff which really isn't far fetched. Knowing him and the way he talks, its even easier to believe it, and why would he lie to prove himself to people by essentially saying hes a smart nerd that makes good grades in school?

If I was going to lie and be a wannabe, I would probably choose a different path to making myself look awesome than that, and in any case you're just way too offensive about it, why are you so set on proving that his entire existence is miserable and a fake setup?

For me to believe that cakenuber is smart and genius has the same possibility as someone being an astronaut.

And i dont need to do anything to prove that his existence is miserable. He is in forums of a game he doesnt play just filling the forums with useless posts or threads like " im sexy" "im not sexy" im momo" "im not momo" " im smart" And crap like that. The only people here that are his friends are those that believe his crap.

I'm on these forums too and I don't play Aion . I also fill the forums with useless posts and threads, but they're always in Hot Spam which is really what its made for, so that shouldn't be a problem (though never have I said "I'm sexy/not sexy" etc.).

Thanks for the compliment I guess, though I'm not trying to join any trios I naturally like being on the good side of everyone I know, and I speak sense when I see a chance xD so I'm not just specifically defending him, just didn't see much point in the harsh insults against him.

Either way, not my business to go deep into it, I guess thats between you and him, and we should probably stop derailing the thread if we don't want it to be closed.

Well, a smart person in my own perspective is someone who endeavours to succeed and thus a determined person is a smart person. Most of us are born equally and we start at the same place. It is solely up to us to direct our future.

On the other hand, a genius, having met some during my own life time, is someone born with special/unique qualities which no other human beings possess. For example, a mathematic genius is someone who is naturally born to “know” math. I had this classmate in Senior High School, he sat beside me in my AP chemistry Class. Anyone with decent Calculus background would know that doing second derivatives sometimes requires heavy computing skills and therefore we, the normal people, rely on a calculator. However, my classmate, robin, wrote his every test paper without a calculator. What is more irritating, agonizing or even perhaps intriguing is that he used a Pen. Never had once in my life have I seen such an arrogant, supercilious, yet so “smart” person in my life. And for sure, everyone was jealous including me.

Now he is studying bioengineering in MIT..

Now, is a smart person happier than a genius?
A smart person is judged by his achievements, a genius is viewed by many with contempt and scorn. Why? We, as humans, all have the innate skill to be jealous of somebody “better” than us. Therefore, the genius on one hand will often meet obstacles in daily life, on the other, the smart person will get along with others or even getting praised for his hard work.

Meh, Im a little late but I was busy doing other things.

To me, a smart person will flaunt what they know as if it give them bragging rights, where as a genius will say what they know with force and meaning behind it.

A smart person will always claim they are right with no factual evidence to back it up.There will never be an understanding between him and the other person. It is their way or the highway as they always feel they have to be right. It becomes a carousel of arguments with no agreement to be civil. They always feel the need to be one-up on everyone, if not, then there not worth it.

A genius person will always say they are right while backing it up with factual evidence. There is room for understanding with them. It becomes more of a debate with genius' instead of an argument with person who is smart. Most every genius' will show you if not teach you things where as smart person will point to instructions and tell you to figure it out yourself.
