So, I put it on there, however, yours was a 257x256, one degree off, and so because I fixed it, [without photoshop], it lost the transparency. I dislike how much of a pain these things are. -.-;

 

Good god, what is gimp doing? I swear, I have no clue why it's doing this. I have checked this one three times, if it doesn't work, I may just need to borrow your sword.

Okay, it seems transparency is achieved with a .tga, not .bmp! This explains it all x_x

I wanted for the main 'burst' to be kept, but the rest to fade in. Sorry for altering your work, I thought it was Venero's

 

no, no I'm just saying that the body of the medallion should be kept. as well as the original colour. I just don't have the skills to do it myself. hence why I gave ya another view so you get an idea of the full medallion.

 

ah, well thanks for the picture, I'll see if I can just sharpen it a bit and downsize it enough to be a good emblem.

This one I simply heightened the contrast enough to get the main 'burst', copied, re-opened the image, pasted, downsized, and presto! Smaller burst, with a bit flare.

 

I'll check it out later when I'm not so tired. x.x
