    Hi,
I am trying to install Gamzbd BDO client on a Win10 PC (version 1909). But whenever I tried to start the client, a error pops up saying: "The type initializer for '-xGxrj...' threw an exception. The application is terminating. I have already installed the Microsoft.Net framework 3.6.1 or a newer version of it. I've also tried turning off windows defender. But nothing seems to work. I would appreciate any help!
    Thank you!

Turning off Windows Defender won't solve the problem. Please set exceptions for your Windows Defender, Firewall and Antivirus.

Also, please take a look at the guides below and make sure to download Microsoft .NET Framework from the link below:

Thank you for the help! Sorry for the typo above I meant I already installed .Net framework of version 4.6.1 or later. Also I just tried setting gamzbdo.exe to be an exception for both the firewall and windows defender, yet the problem persists.

This issue should have been solved by downloading the right version of Microsoft .NET Framework. Hmmm... Have you restarted your pc after the changes?

    EDIT:
Have you already installed Visual C++?

It's really late here so I can't help you more with it right now, but I will see what more can be done tomorrow. :)

So... let's see. The error you are facing is usually related to Microsoft .NET Framework, so I am surprised it is not solved already. Have you Forced Check already?

Um how exactly should I point gamezbd launcher to the bdo folder since I can't open the launcher?
Also each time the launcher fails to open a log file was generated, will those files be helpful to solve the problem? I attached the log file below.

So you have the issue before the Launcher runs not after pressing Start? How did you manage to install Visual C++? Manually?

Yup the launcher won't open at all. I also have manually installed every version of visual C++

That's what I understood at first, but then you said you downloaded Visual C++ and I assumed you managed to run the Launcher. :D

I believe that it would be better to perform a clean installation of the game since you cannot Force Check. You have already downloaded Visual C++ and Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6.1, and therefore it should run without any issues this time.

I just downloaded the entire BDO game again and it still didn't work... I think there is probably something wrong with my system. I will probably try reinstall Windows later. Thank you so much for the help!
