Lately, I've had the opportunity to sit and really wonder to myself, what exactly I've taken for granted.

I've taken love and friendship for granted for sure, I thought all of it would come and go, never thought It'd be something that hurt and lingered for so long, yet when I had it I felt like nothing would ever be wrong. There's been alot of places I'd never thought to myself I'd find either in, yet I did and I enjoy all of it immensely.

I've taken technology for granted. Recently, I had to play with only 1gb of memory, and a less than par computer. I got my memory upgrade for the computer today, and I've felt so grateful since. Funny how you take for granted being able to listen to music and browse the web at the same time.

And I'm being honest on this last bit, I've taken clean water and a roof over my head for granted. For ages, I used to come home to my apartment, and the water would be absolutely terrible. It'd look yellow, and smell terrible It was unsafe to drink, unsafe to cook with, and generally made me sick. Now that I've moved, I have clean safe water, and I realize just how truly important it was.

What are some of the things you've taken for granted when you are able to sit back and reflect?

we all do... take things for granted... but the very least in our memories we come to remember the important little things in life that we find useful everyday

I take people's stupidity for granted . I mean people on the net always will act stupid and this won't ever change because there barely few rules that apply :)

Look at the threads around you and you will understand what I mean , one comp / one keyboard and net connection are the tools .

I could see how intelligence could be taken for granted, is something that we acquire over the years and forget we have alot of times.

I say be happy with your life being the way it is today. It can always get worse, be happy you have a home, internet, TV, with clean food and water. There are people out there that don't have any of these necessities let alone the luxuries that we currently have.

I take everything for granted, it could all be gone in an instant with a stroke of bad luck (not that it will happen, you never know though).

your family... your health... your very life. It can all go away, and it will go in time.
