You could either go MB/MA for those people who stack MR
In my opinion going MR is for the most part pointless, any sorc who's gonna kill you could just pop supplication of focus anyway and nuke you down. Any Cleric who's going to kill you well...if they can kill you before you kill them it's because they're ABG chain stacking MR and you don't have enough MA to hit em. HP for overall survivability.
My personal preference is MB/MA. Get enough MB that you can cap with robe of flame + food + Zikiel's Wisdom (I think that's the one that boosts MB) Then the rest MA.
