.... to improve the server population !

i agree with HEX in all those parts, and ephsilon if u are AM for write those things to a player who is ONLY giving some suggestions, so u are in the wrong place, our server is almost DEATH and we need absolutely something to improve the serve to make the new players stay there! we have a lot of new players evryday but they leave in mid level (20-40). Still i agree with Hex the old database was so nice(when it was running there were more than 100 players each race online) maybe Admin and Devs can take care about this, even if they read this thread, also we need absolutely new AMs ACTIVE!! because snic is not enought for a server(nothing personal snick ) so think about this, more players already left and we are really a little number of elyos(dont know about asmodians but i dun see much in core)

Remove the abg stats like + 60% speed and also those stats that are adding from 4 abg parts to 5 abg parts like - 3000 parry with 4 abg parts to 3600 parry with 5 abg parts ( from were that parry comes ? ? - only for that one i know ! This is a changing that must be done !

It s the XP rate in retail... I need 3 months at least to be 50 (not 55) in retail that s the only reason if there was a x10 xp only retail server believe me i would be there

So the only solution you can come up with is for players who have donated/voted to lose their gear? You're kidding right? That is absurd. When Hex and others donated/voted for their gear (myself included) Crystal was in no way as bad of a shape as it is now. Players giving up their gear willingly or not is not the solution. When I joined Crystal last year the server was full of players in ABG camping in Heiron and I managed to level up just fine despite this. These people claiming armor needs to be wiped need to man up and stop being such babies about being killed ffs.

The only thing that is going to help Crystal is if the Devs fix the damn server and get it back to how it was in Dec/Jan would go quite far as we saw before in getting record numbers of players. Unfortunately I don't know wtf they think are doing with Crystal but it's obviously not working. Going further in the wrong direction is only going to continue to kill the server and it seriously disgusts me to see what has happened with Crystal. Good luck getting them to listen to you guys though.

look u ll never get what u had in Dec/Jan and I was there too and on Dec/Jan allready there were players with millions AP even then and the first AP wipe was Jan i believe
If u think that in Jan server was better than now u r naive. It was only just a bit better because u were around and tried to fix some things here and there.

But allready Crystal was marching a downward road because of bad administrating(carl not u u didn t have full powers unfortunatelly) discissions

And elite gear (ABG,masta/sw etc) shouldn t be donating gear enough said. That ruins the competition. Any player that bought his gear can pwn a really dedicated player that hasn t "donated" and that sux. Skill and skill only should be rewarded...

Donations/events/voting and other forms of "cheating" can give small help but that s it. no more than just a small help. It s not that i don t understand how u feel about donated gear i did a few donations myself.I m just stating what s right.

Carl build this reward system in a bad basis from the beginning and it s still not clear to most of u what s the problem with CA... Maybe u ll figure someday

 

Maybe instead of wiping the stronger PvP gears from existing players, a temporary nerf of some sort can be introduced until a stronger player-base settled in. But even then, that doesn't solve much and plenty of players would be angry. Crystal almost never sees a GM online, and while Snick and Bryne help out whenever they're online, the others I've seen only talk to you 'til you need something from them, then they disappear. Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't GMs supposed to help players? Even if the GM is busy, he/she could notify the player of that and say they can't take care of the issue, instead of ignoring players completely. Secondly, we need more developers. From what I hear, the only developer is stretched pretty thin, and one dev can't take care of everything alone. I looked into the applications and saw there were about two promising applications that were given no visible consideration. Atleast one accepted applicant would relieve pressure from our only developer significantly. And that would be enough to see change, no? Another thing is, while I've noticed several instances were fixed (VERY thankful for that, LOVE the new quests and gear to gain ), dredgion has yet to be functional. Many a player is tired of air PvP, and Silentera is sealed off, so ground PvP has yet to be an option. If the Dredgion could atleast be slightly fixed, then ground PvP would surely bring more players in. There are many more issues that need to be discussed, but in order to avoid the dreaded TL;DR, I'll shut up for now. xD

still Hex suggestion for Obelisks warehouses in Silentera is by far superior suggestion to Heiron rifts
