Tome or orb ?

I get the everybody says to me use tome, ok.. but i was comparing two itens, same boss, Orb and tome.. and the orb seems to be better in m.boost and m.acc '-'

the tome got more magic accuracy, the orb got a lil more dmg and some extra crap. that makes orb better for sorc and tome better for sm

 

go for tome, because you can socket more mb to make up the lost of having tome instead of an orb.

Example on abg tome vs abg orb you have 90 mb difference and 90 macc.

for you to get same magic accuracy as tome if you choose orb u need to socket about 7 slots of macc, when you only have to socket 4 to get same mb and have high magic accuracy.

mean with set up of orb and macc you will end up with higher macc and mb or same mb with tome.

Dear freaxx, if you are using SM, give a good look at the skills and u will realize that damage is ridiculous, BUT, they rave a lot o effects that MUST work when u hit someone, SO, it's meaningless have a lot of Mboost to do ridiculous damage, you will need more Macc to effects. If u are using sorcer, u will see your magics do painfull damage, SO, u will will have to rise Mboost to the stars and nuke the enemy . However, if u still whit doubt, get orb and tome, and use change weapon command to use each for specifc situations, and test what is better for you

 

go orb and slot all ma! I did that with my sorcerer dont listen to people that say tome! cause orb is made for a sorcerer!

 

ORB for me, you can socket MA ms and not to mention your MA buffs since you are a sorc..

i thought tome was made for sorc.. i see a lot of sorceres high ranks using tomes.. '-'

it's beter to hit and penetrate enemy's defenses than to be resisted and ended up 0 damage.. Boost is not that important than MA as boost can be covered by PVP accessories while MA is hard to be meet against MR users.....
