I've been having troubles trying to transfer a character after the free transfer occurred. Before the free transfers occurred, I've been having no problem at all transferring a character back and forth even tho the character I'm transferring is almost full both in inventory and warehouse.

I've been trying to transfer with this set up.

    Inventory less than 60% filled
    Broker Sell tab empty
    Broker Sold items tab empty
    Special Cube empty

    Read Mail tab empty
    Awaiting Collection tab empty
    Stigma Slots empty

    Account warehouse empty
Private Warehouse less than 60% filled

    No pet with inventory (bag)
    Friend List empty
    Block list empty
    Pet Buff Bag empty

    Don't own a house
    Not in a legion
    Offline when transferring
    5 free character slots

Is this really suppose to still fail? The problem right now when transfer is failing is that you have to wait a day or two, sometimes even longer to be able to try again because the auto refund is not working and sadly, SAMs are stripped of the access to be able to refund credits for failed transfers, unlike before when you just have to send a SAM a PM, your credits gets refunded and you can try to transfer again. If you're going to tell me to bring even lesser items than what I'm already trying to bring then it wouldn't worth 1, 500 credits anymore. This is a high rate server where most people play not only one but several classes and each of these characters are most of time filled with items. Just imagine how much credits it would take to transfer 8 characters because the person don't want to break their weapon fuses , that's 12, 000 credits! This much credits only to be able to move to another server. If you ask me, that doesn't sound reasonable at all.

@Carl, if by one in a million chance and you happen to read this, just please let AMs or/and SAMs and HAM be able to refund credits again, it was more convenient and faster that way.

Transfers are a matter of data, there are a lot of possible factors influencing the fail/success chances.
However, it mainly depends on how "big" your toon's data is in our database. You can't bring thousand of items, the system can not manage it and this can not be changed.

Have you completed a lot of quests? If yes, how many?
Have you any active daily/weekly/pvp quests?
Do you own a stuido? Is there a lot of furniture? Have you got a housing cabinet (a little housing warehouse in which items can be stored) ?

If none of the following questions matches your character, then i'll have to ask you to try to further reduce the amount of items.

I don't own a house. As for studio, I'm not sure if I do have one but even if I do, I'm sure that it's empty as I never really bothered with it. As for the questions about quests, here: http://imgur.com/LAvybUc,3zUsgC2,TkU9lBY,6bPSi5Q,AfPTdAm,zHWh8cV,ofJ5pwR,bUK0KcU

I just abandoned every quest I possibly could.

The answer to this question is probably no but I would ask anyway just to make sure. Since the number of quests matters which I think players are not told before, is there a way for you guys to delete or reset them, like it wasn't taken by the character to lessen the amount of data? The same case for learned designs/recipe, I suppose?

I also would like to suggest, how about the the character being transferred that has fuse on it's weapon gets it's weapon fuse after a successfully transferring?
To elaborate, since transferring is a matter of data and most of the time the character is involved in a lot of quest (finished or in progress) which has probably no way around it and one of the most common and important thing player worry is their weapon fuse, how about that instead of transferring this kind of character which has a lot of data, just tell them to break their weapon fuse, create a fresh new character which would turn out to have less data on it since it's new and transfer this new character together with their items on it. The player then get's their weapon fused that they broke from an admin just to be able to transfer after they're done transferring. Of course they would have to provide a proof thru screen shot that they did have the weapon fuse with //time command used being showed in the screen shot.

Fused weapons make no difference, they count pretty much as two items. Transfering a fused polearm would be the same as transfering two swords, so that's not a problem.
Quests usually do not influence on server transfers unless the amount of completed quests is really enormous. Considering you have been into aion for a while, there was a good chance for you to have had lots of quests and therefore lots of data related to it.
In extreme cases we can delete your old completed quests but it won't make any difference in your case as you have completed few of them.

We'll take a look at your case in a little with Carl, however i belive you will simply need to reduce the amount of items.

The suggestion about weapon fuse is made so that instead of transferring an old character with weapon fused on it and with lots of data on it, you just simply break your fuse and make a fresh new character with less data on it. The reason why would someone insist on transferring that specific older character they want to transfer is because they wouldn't want to break their fuse which most of the time is a lot more expensive than the actual transfer fee.

About reducing the amount of items, as I've mentioned, before the free transfer occurred, I've been transferring character with almost full inventory and warehouse with no problems, sometimes even 1/4 or 1/2 filled Special Cube and they still goes through.

Thanks for taking a further look at it.
