    When in doubt, upload suspicious files to virustotal. Here is the report for the gamez launcher (analyzed right now):

    Only 1/57 antivirus programs found an "infection" and it isn't even an infection to speak of:

    The reason is generally the software used to create the setup bundle has options to bundle in ads. This has happened at some point in the past as well. There is nothing harmful about it so don't worry.
