check if the anti-virus is blocking the update by pause the anti-virus and re-open the launcher and should update now, dont forget to exclude the launcher and game folders from anti-virus.

    Hey,
I'm responding because I had the same issue that you described and have managed to fix it.
I have trend antivirus and it seems it was deleting files from the GamezBD folder immediately after the installer put them in there without notifying me.
Either way, you should make sure you have the gamezbd.tr file in that folder and that the .exe file isn't corrupted. I had a friend send me the files since I wasn't able to get them myself without them getting corrupted or deleted which got me past the issue you are having. I also moved the GamezBD folder onto an external hard drive but I don't think that is necessary.
    Good Luck
