Updating to 2.5...

Hello,

Do not update your Clients to version 2.5 because our server does not yet support this version, and you'll only experience client side glitches and bugs, Version 2.5 is still currently in development and we will let you know when its safe to update your Clients.

[Offical]Downgrade from v2.5


♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ ******Downgrading from 2.5***

Since 2.5.x.x verison IS NOT supported yet. we recommend to use 2.1.0.12 or any 2.1.x.x verison. here you will know how, to downgrade your client verison to 2.1.0.12.


1. Be sure, to Open NCsoft launcher and turn off automatic updates.

2. Go to your Aion, main folder and Delete the Bin32,Bin64,Data,Shaders,event.pak (in event folder),Effects,Levels(DONT DELETE THE COMMON FOLDER INSIDE IT!!),L10N,PS~ Folders. (Default path: Program Files(x86) NCSoft > Aion)

3. Download the bin32,Data,Shaders,Levels,Data,event.pak,Effects, folders and place them in your Aion main folder. (Place event.pak in event folder)

4. Open your version.ini file in Aion Main Folder, (Default: Program Files(x86) NCSoft > Aion). and replace

Replace: v2.5 Data Folder with v2.1 Data
Replace: v2.5 Shaders Folder with v2.1 Shadres
Replace: v2.5 Effects Folder with v2.1 Effects
Replace: v2.5 event.pak with v2.1 event.pak
Replace: v2.5 Levels[/FONT][FONT=Arial Narrow][COLOR=red](Remmeber DO NOT delete the commons 2.5 folder, inside Levels!)[/COLOR][/FONT][FONT=Arial Narrow] Folder with v2.1 Levels (Expect for Commons Folder).

[/FONT][CODE] [FONT=Arial Narrow][COLOR=red][B]delete your L10N Folder. and now to get 2.1/2.0 L10N Folder we are going do this: 

Download this from the ncsoft server(just copy/paste):  [/B][B][URL]http://aion.patcher.ncsoft.com/Aion/NA_ENU/Patches/Aion_NA_ENU_0.0.0.0To2.0.0.9.ncpatch[/URL]

Use Winrar to open the downloaded file and extract the folder.

Delete the L10N folder inside your Aion game folder.

Put the L10N folder from the extracted folder inside your Aion game folder.[/B][/COLOR][/FONT]

[FONT=Arial Narrow][B][COLOR=red]**If you dont do the above for L10N Folder, you will have weird/korean text.[/COLOR][COLOR=red]**[/COLOR][/B][/FONT]

A: You deleted your Common folder, in your Levels folder, Repair your client through NCSoft launcher and Delete all the folders inside the Levels folder, EXPECT Common Folder! DO NOT Delete it! and then Download the Levels.rar i have posted and Extract all the folders inside it to your Levels Folder.


Q: My Client Language/text is Korean or Weird help me please!!

A: Delete your 2.5 L10N Folder, and download the 2.1 L10N Folder.
