Useless Skill in Aethertech (Possible Mini Rework)

    Greetings,

    With the upcoming stigma system change in the game, I was reviewing the Aethertech’s skills in general and noticed there is a completely useless spell. I’m talking about the skill called Aerial Shot, which at max level reaches level 8, as shown in the image. This skill can only be used on targets under the Aether’s Hold state, which I find ironic since, as we all know, Aethertechs don’t have any skill that can put an enemy into the Aether’s Hold state.

    P.S.: I believe some of the other classes might also have completely useless skills, but I can’t be sure since I only play Aethertech.

    On another note (and I know this might not be that relevant), from what I’ve seen in other classes, some of them at max level can still use skills obtained before the ascension quest, where the subclass is chosen. For example, I know Clerics still use several of these skills even at level 65. But again (I don’t know how it is with all other classes), in Aethertech these skills can only be used with the Aether Revolver, making them completely useless. Comparing Aethertech to a Cleric, this means we actually end up with fewer usable skills overall. I repeat, I don’t know if this is the same case for the other classes, so I might be wrong.

    As a suggestion that I would really like to see considered: I think it would be better to replace Aerial Shot with Magic Regeneration, so that the latter is no longer a stigma and can help the Aethertech deal with the problem that (personally) affects me a lot. The issue is the exaggerated mana loss when taking damage. As we all know, Aethertechs have the skill Mystic Shell, which is a shield that drains mana based on the damage received. In my experience, when tanking multiple monsters in PvE or fighting against a Bard or Gunner (while they use their mana-draining skills), the mana loss in Aethertech is excessive. Currently, this problem is not so noticeable because, with the full stigma system, it can be countered by using Magic Regeneration and Quick Recharge. However, with the new stigma system, those skills will no longer be available, which I think will become a very noticeable weakness for Aethertechs in any type of fight, PvE or PvP.

    There is no reason to get a stigma for free if we're going to a stigma system.

    If your suggestion will be granted I will quit this game, Broken class must be nerfed you know why ppl leave this game? because of that damn broken classes. Look at elden aion right now they dont have broken classes that is why they got more player(1000+ player online in a day) Players are seeking a fair play game no Op classes like bard gunner or aethertech!

    This is not a mini-rework at all and takes at least some effort to get done on a development level as they would require changes to both client and server files. That being said, no one can blame you for not knowing how complicated the changes you're requesting are.
    And even if they were able to customize the client to such a degree and actually went through the trouble, what sense would it make changing Aerial Shot into a Vision Stigma? That just adds to the work imo.

    Your other point about pre-Ascension skills being available post-ascension is also rather weak, because the Ranger also has access to Swift Blade and the Chanter has access to the other skill that Clerics use (I forgot the name) for certain situations.
    Of course the Mechanist skills won't be your main kit, but if you use a skill that disembarks you, you can still somewhat defend yourself with the skills you learned as Mechanist pre-Ascension. In that sense, it might be more useful than other shared skills. I still sometimes use Erosion 1 on my Sorc too because it stacks with Flame Cage.

    Regarding the Stigmas, I think everyone having to pick their poison now seems fair.
