I suggest not using the NCSoft launcher to download Aion, as it will automatically patch it to version 2.0, i suggest downloading it from (CLICK HERE), there you can find version 1.9.0.1 and download that.

Also, if you have the NCSoft launcher, make sure to turn automatic updates off in the settings, and to set your region to North America before you install the game.

EDIT: Its going to take about 2-4 hours depending on your network speed, you need to keep in mind that the game is about 11GB in size, so it's a pretty hefty file for those with an average speed broadband, took me about 2-3 hours so I played single player games like Oblivion or Mafia 2 to pass the time.

The problem with torrents is that it's really down to how many people are seeding it at that exact moment, on top of that it will bring your network to a standstill because torrents are notorious for sucking up lots of bandwidth.

I suggest sticking to the direct downloads from the link I posted earlier, that will be your fastest option.

I take it you don't know a lot on how torrenting works, turning it on high speed just allows it to download at a faster rate, but it is still heavily reliant on how many people are seeding at the time and what their upload speed is set to, you could have 100 people seeding a torrent with an upload speed of 1Kb/s, which gives you a grand total download speed of 100KB/s, whereas with a direct download, depending on an average broadband, lets say, 8MB, will give you 800Kb/s which is 8 times as fast.
