Finished Welcoming May with Tulips!

The wonderful fragrance of tulips has arrived to welcome May to the Black Desert world. Take this chance to show your appreciation by preparing meals for the hard-working soldiers and gifting some beautiful tulips to Norma Leight.


And wait, there’s more!



Some fearsome Field Bosses have also been lured in by the scent of tulips near Heidel’s Northern Guard Camp. Defeat them and you’ll be rewarded with Memory Fragments, Ancient Spirit Dust, and other items that the bosses have stashed away!


Event 1. Helping the Hard-working Soldiers
Event Period
- May 11, 2022 after maintenance – June 10, 2022 before maintenance

Event Details
- During the event, complete special quests offered by various NPCs.

* The “[Event] A Special Meal for the Soldiers” quest is a weekly quest that can only be completed once a week per Family.

* You may be unable to see the event NPCs if you have the “Hide Certain NPCs” option activated in the in-game settings. Please turn off the “Hide Certain NPCs” option and restart your game to see the NPCs.

* The “[Event] Our Hero” quest can only be completed once per Family.

* We also unlocked 2 special quests from black spirit (Hero Treasure 1 and Hero Treasure 2) which was exclusive on Russian BDO version.

Event 2. Beautiful Spring Tulips​

Event Period
- May 11, 2022 after maintenance – June 10, 2022 before maintenance

Event Details
① Log in during the event period to obtain the item below from the Challenge (Y) menu!

​

* This Challenge resets daily at midnight (00:00) and can be completed once a day per Family.

* Rewards of completed event Challenges will stack in your Challenge (Y) menu until collected.

② Plant and harvest the [Event] Tulip Seed that you obtained from Challenge to obtain the [Event] Tulip.

How to Plant [Event] Tulip Seeds!

* Click on the magnifying glass-shaped “Find NPC” icon at the upper-right of the in-game screen and search for “fence.”
* Go to the NPC you are directed to and rent a fence from the NPC using Contribution. (You can also right-click the [Event] Tulip Seed to find an NPC that you can rent fences from!)
* Right-click the fence in a Combat Zone to install it.
* Once you’ve installed the fence, use “Switch to Place Mode (R)” to plant the [Event] Tulip Seed.
* After you’ve planted the [Event] Tulip Seed, you can harvest the [Event] Tulip Seed once enough time has passed for it to fully grow in order to obtain the [Event] Tulip.

③ Gather the harvested [Event] Tulips and gift them to the NPC Norma Leight in the Northern Wheat Plantation!

* This quest can only be completed once per Family.

* Adventurers who complete this quest can still exchange [Event] Tulip x1 for Gold Bar 10G x1 with the NPC Norma Leight.

* This quest can still be accepted after the end of the event if you have an [Event] Tulip in your possession.

Event 3. Field Boss Rush!​

Event Period
- May 11, 2022 after maintenance – June 10, 2022 before maintenance

Event Details​

① During the event period, Field Bosses will appear near Heidel’s Northern Guard Camp.

② The Field Bosses will appear in the following order.

​

* In general, once Dasterd Bheg first appears, Red Nose will appear 1 minute after, then Giant Mudster 2 minutes after, and finally Dim Tree Spirit will appear 3 minutes after.
* If the Field Bosses are not defeated within 30 minutes, they will disappear.
* You cannot defeat the Field Bosses on servers with ongoing Node/Conquest Wars.
* PvP will be unavailable until the Field Bosses are defeated once they appear.

③ You can obtain the following rewards depending on the damage you dealt to the event Field Bosses.

Tip! Defeat the event Field Bosses to have DOUBLE the chance to obtain boss gear!
