Hi guys. Just beginning to understand the whole Aion idea about items.

    What are weapon/armor fluxes for?
    What's the process?
What ingredients do I need to used them with?
Any NPCs around to do this?

    Thanks!

weapon / accessories / armor fluxes are used in crafting....

it's an ingredient... so if you want to take up crafting you better save up on these

Most of the ingredients you use them with are gatherables: Aethers and other ground gatherables, for higher rank weapon you need an HQ of the weapon 1 rank lower. NPC's for crafting in sanctum are located near the protector's hall, and in pandaemonium they are in the Artisan's district.
    There are 6 crafts:
    Tailoring - Armor/Accessory Flux
    Alchemy - Weapon Flux/Elemental Stones
Cooking - nothing except gatherables, and meat from monsters
    Armorsmithing Armor/Accessory Flux
    Weaponsmithing - Weapon Flux
    Handicrafting - Accessory/Weapon Flux

Basically mate, you need a flux for every single crafting skill from armor to weapons to items. The best stuff is made with stronger fluxes though, and those only drop from the stronger monsters.

    (Try the balic items)
