What defines a kill?

Hey guys and gals, just wondering what is it that defines if you get a kill or not? I'm not really interested in AP, as long as I'm Rank 1 or higher.

I'm an Asmo and I hang out in Gelk mostly. I pingpong but try not to.

Cleric
ACD Armor
EAC Mace
ACD Shield
AC Accessories
MA=2300+
MB=2700+

I average between 1k and 5k every time I acquire AP. Sometimes I get 15-20k. So I'll pull 100k in a night but maybe only 10 kills.

Maybe it's more than 50% damage done to opposite faction or 75% to get the "kill"?

I think it's most damage dealt to the opposite faction...

 

Stop zergging, and if you'll keep doint it, then try to deal more damage next time.

 

The factor is the damage. Whoever does most damage gets the kill.
