Clerics having full DPS line and ALL their defensive and group heal stigmas is one of the worst offenders of the all stigma system on this server. My wife's a cleric, and watching her rip people apart is a real blast, but even she agrees, it really needs to get changed.

All gladiators advanced stigmas are horrible, they either have cast time (which blows) or have a ton of useless stigma requirements that force you to lose all your good utility stigmas (DW line). But having ALL DW chain skills AND all utilities AND all AOEs is a bit out of control.

I could go on and on about how bad the all stigma system is, but servers just went down to fix problem, so it's a moot point. And your logic fails because at least with the retail stigma system you can work around broken skills. If you're using a broke skill it just means you either refuse to care, or you decided you absolutly have to have what comes after that skill. Which depending on the skill might make sense, but i've yet to see it on any server.

Anyway, Logic prevailed. All stigma system is gone. Real pvp otw.

Also the distance + instant cast thing is a normal part of Pservers without Geodata, there is a second or 2 delay from when you get into range, to when you can do a ranged attack (Happens to my glad with his cleave a lot, I get within 17 meters, and it takes a second or 2 before I can use it, or force blast) It's not a skill bug, it's a geodata problem.

And no, I don't play a cleric because it might be OP, I play a cleric because I've always played clerics and I like the class. OP? Don't think so... Try sorcerers, or SMs.

With an all stigma system, the class with most working/useful stigmas gets a huge benifit (Clerics, Sorcs, Templars) and some classes are forced to have a handicap with a ton of broken/useless pvp skills (Glads, SMs).... and with a retail stigma system, everyone is limited to 6 regular and 5 advanced, limited even more by a tree system. Therefor you can choose to pick the usefull/working stigmas. There is no class that doesn't at least 11 working good stigmas.

I believe you still don't get my point. If the stigma system is going to be 'implemented', we shouldn't have to choose between working/not working stigmas because they all should work. In my opinion, implementing the stigma trees with skills that are still useless is as unbalancing.

You can't "Fix" something thats not a part of the game. Pservers will most likely never have geodata, you're going to have to learn to wait after you get in range to use your skills, just like I do.

I can't believe we're discussing this. Geodata or not, it needs to be fixed! And I've seen private servers with working geodata.

What I mean with this is: if I'm a cleric and want to use the ranged stun and can't, even when I'm still and the target is at an appropriate distance, then it's a problem. Skills like these are meant to be used at a distance (for obvious reasons) and instantaneously.

The only way SMs can become a balanced class is for the Devs to lower how long fear sticks on a player. As it is right now, an SM can chain paralyze you for over 60 seconds straight with nothing you can do about it. Until the day comes that we have geodata (which may never come) and we actually run away from SM when feared, the duration needs to be lowered so if you get feared you can still have a chance to fight back.

Agreed. It is a temporary solution, though. Bugging a skill is not a way to solve these kind of problems.

Another Q.Q about SM.. stack MR if you want to resist fear chains, and not suggest nerfing a skill.... I'll agree to nerf fear only when they'll remove ALL HEALS AND AOEs from glads! If you can't play your char, that's not our fault....just delete it.

I wonder what will you tell when they fix all teh bugged skills SMs have now.... One free hint for yah....either learn how to play or delete this game....>.>
