When fishing on a boat at sea, characters will fall into the sea

When you operate a character and take a boat to the deep sea, and let the character stand on the boat to fish while the boat is stationary, the boat will fluctuate up and down with the waves, but the standing position of the character will not fluctuate with the boat, causing the character to stand on the boat while fishing.

If the point is far lower than the original standing point, the character will fall into the hull or the sea, causing fishing to be interrupted.

There is an option while fishing, called "Do not board other ships...", not entirely sure why or even if it works, but it might be the solution that can help you.
