It's been 4 days and GameZ is still unplayable.

 

when they put together some fixes that break less than they fix

maybe they will test updates properly this time

 

In my opinion, at least, it is far from unplayable...

There may be a few bugs, but I still managed to kick it with others all last night (hours and hours =D!)

 

Isnt he/she talking about the ping problem? Its bad for me but its worse for some others. It ruins gameplay for me so im just gonna wait until some kind of fix comes.

 

yea id prefer slower fixes that work without breaking stuff than something put together hastily that could make things worse

 

Unplayable o.o? I was playing the game quite easily last night for a couple hours. Bugless most certainly not but "unplayable" is certainly rather exaggerated.

Our next bugfix patch is somewhere in the pipeline although we do not have a date to provide at this stage, deadlines are rarely helpful anyway considering any unexpected delay at that point results in a drama-fest from some of our more vocal community members.

Taking a glance at what's been done so far this should address a fair amount of player concerns.

On the subject of ping mine's been fine.

Basically increased ping and heavy spikes making it a nightmare to pvp or even pve i guess
I also asked in lfg chat and got several responses saying theirs is bad too.
Its only since the 2.7 update btw, any idea what i could be?

 

Not sure, there are some minor packet issues which should be addressed next update which could be responsible although that would be a bit unusual.

As far as our server's hosting configuration goes there hasn't been any significant changes recently. I was playing last night for a bit and experienced no unusual ping spikes.

There are a couple hiccups in the engine right now though which might be the cause of your problem. Would be wise to check after our next bugfix patch.

 

I was having ping issues myself the other day, was going up to about 500 ping, when the normal for me is about 100. However, I logged in today, and my ping was back to normal.

 

Ok nice hopefully it goes away soon.

500 is nasty, its goes up to about 350 highest for me, but its really noticeable like a second delay when fighting and its kinda often.

 

I wish my normal ping was 350... lol

u could say that again mine back in cz is 150-250, since i moved to UAE its 500-600 lol. havent checked after 2.7

 

You're right, it's completely playable. It's just not fun to play. Rangers probably have the most annoying bug right now. Every other skill during pvp gets interrupted and you can't cast for a second or two. Making my 50ms completely worthless.
I atk slower than someone with 500 ping right now. That's not fun to me. I don't have full abg, the one huge benefit that I had, that I don't anymore, is my fast attack rate. Leaving me completely worthless and being ripped apart by everyone I come up against.
It's been 5 days now, and I haven't touched GameZ.

 

I don't know but every ranger i come across seems to have been buffed significantly since 2.7 to be honest. They are spraying skills so fast in their mau form and stun shot now hits me for 3.5k damage

Some of us have very little free time. I get on GameZ when I get home from work usually. I don't have time for women. I don't have time for friends. Not anymore. My job takes up 80% of my free time. And when I get home, I'd like to play a game or two. If you're saying I have no life, then I couldn't agree with you more. Society has taken away my life, making money is the only thing that matters. But something like this that relieves stress is high on my priority list. Since I don't see much of my friends or family or my home town, I like things like this.

Yeah that does seem to be true, damage by rangers has increased a lot. It may just be my low ping, but every other skill I cast interrupts, saying, "You are not ready to use that skill."
I would much rather have a faster attack rate. Give me back my crap damage, I don't care. lulz
