I would like to see any cleric heal or PvP better than him.

 

Any skilled cleric who left retail like server (with limit on stigma skills/ tree's not auto learn all skills like here)and came here can be either lost in all these skills or real azzkicker,more likely the second option.Gear is much better here than on other PServeres and it's easyer to get which will make him even better,same for any other class.^^

 

These lines I can completely agree with, but that only comes down to which clerics are skilled and which aren't. I can completely agree with people wanting to know which clerics are skilled and such, but really determining the "best" cleric through a forum thread is about as pointless as anything. People will name the clerics they know or the clerics they're friends of, even if those people aren't as good as some others. I'd love knowing who all is skilled and who isn't, but you tend to find that out anyway just from meeting new people, and its good to go out and meet those people and have the interaction and fun in the game. I'm not saying you don't do those things so don't take it that way, just pointing out that a lot of people simply have ego contests hoping they'll be named as the -best-, instead of respecting each person of their class that shares a level of skill that they do (or do not), and I think it should be the other way around. Obviously threads like these only hurt that purpose.

Haha couldn't agree with you more. I've met some other clerics that are good. I might not think they are as good as I am nor might people I play with but they are good. Cleric has a rather high learning curve as (stigma build options) the DPS cleric plays totally different than a Healer stigma one. You could be REALLY good as a True Cleric (Heal stigma) but SUCK as a DPS build or visa versa.

I do however think, that some people no matter how much time they have on the class, simply are going to be inept at judging what is needed to be done as it is with any class and or game, no matter where you go or what you do. There are some who will simply suck at a class, myself? Anything melee on AION. Found my personal niche in the cleric, either stigma build though I do tremendously better as a Healer Stigma build than a DPS stigma build.

It really is more about knowing your short coming and highs if you are talking about an indivudual as well as what your group / party members are able to handle before you need to take actions. If say a glad has 16k hp, and they are in no trouble; yet you still heal them over the squishie sm that is being beaten on, then I would have to say your not a good cleric (of course this is in repetition and not just a fluke as they happen.) Knowing the other classes weakness / strength as well as how they work together, or in a duo knowing the others play style and how their character handles with the gear they have.

Those are the things that make a good cleric. It's all in judgement of the people your with abilities and skills in general. The cleric is only there to support (dps build aside, yet it is more of a support dps as focus is on keeping party alive).

Given a dps cleric build, you need to know when to heal and when to cast attacks. That, is a tremendously fine balancing act. I would say anyone who can keep a party of 6 alive though say, 10 people + casting attacks? IS much better than anyone who is full healer build as they are more regulatory and mandated into casting heals with only two truely useful skills unless the situation is stupid (fear, sleep, ect. Then the other couple skills can be used.)

Anyway. That's my 2 cents, and I probably made no sense at all because im exhausted.

I vote for Morpheous on lumiel server...you have to be very experianced on mmo games so you can understand his skill otherwise you wont get impressed since he doesnt have good gear

The basic point about being the best CLERIC is the keep your DPS power alive if you ask me and the best one for this is Misakuri..
I went to hunt with Zethar and Eltab and both of them are perfect at what they are doing. Ehy are not there to attack the enemy they are there to keep you alive.. An Catrice most lovely cleric ever been
