why i cant see new items

i cant see new items how can i fix it?

 

What new items are you referring to?

 

Maybe u used items.pak for 3.0/or lower and thats why u cant see them. Happened to me too inched: I didnt notice that i am using items.pak for 3.0 from gamez and i cant see any new items from 3.7, then one my friend told me if I have it for 3.7... :smile:

 

Well some people use 3.7 in data\usa\items, but it is being overridden by leftovers of 3.0 in their data\items\

Go to data\items\ and make sure there is nothing else besides the original items.pak (like 35mb big or so). If you have over 4,000 random files there, delete them all and just keep the original items.pak there

Same goes for data\usa\items, there should be nothing else besides one of my version of the 3.7 items.pak

well, i did have sort of similar problem...although i have already an item pak for 3.7 version but my main problem is , i cant see any items even the old ones like my old forgotten abyssal set or any set for that matter and i already give up trying since i don't want to tinker with my client again and in doing so,will make me not able to play the game at all...just saying.....

New items have missing icons

Go to your Aion\Data\Items\ folder and delete everything except the original items.pak (35mb)

New items have no names/cannot be linked in chat

Go to your Aion\L10N\1_enu\data folder and delete zData.pak. Run your Gamez launcher, it will ask to update. Update and play.

well zannova, thanks for your reply but the thing is, when i control click the items, whether new 3.7 items or pre 2.0,2.7, 3.0 items to see how they look, nothing shows to appear on what they really look like unlike before when i control click items, i can see and view them including from different angle but now nada, zilch....i also visited previously that thread of Sir Smartik1 but it seems my problem is not included in that list.....newey, as i've said, thank zannova and hope to see you soon ingame but for now, i've jsut stopped playing for awhile due to the high ping/lag i am encountering that is not conducive anymore to play and enjoy the game decently...hofefully, after I upgraded my pc to i7 later on, I can have a decent time to enjoy the game more.....just being busy here at forum for awhile....wew.......

 

check ur data/items and delete the old item pak and paste the new one 3.7
