Wild Horses since patch

Ive caught a couple of horses now since today's patch -- every time I go to register the horses, they change color, tier, and sex from what they are at the time that I name them, to the time that they are 'finalized' into my registry.
I had a t5 dull black mare that went to a t3 grey stud --
had a t3 male that went to a t1 grey male (and yes, I know how to tell the differences in them)
and a third that was also the t4 mare that went to a grey stallion.

Pls fix this -- I'm fairly new, and trying to upgrade horses is a Wee bit difficult when you cant keep the mares that you catch to do anything with.
