Will Hedgehogs ever come back by playing the game?

Hello everyone,
I would like to know if the developing team has any plans to bring back a way to get a Hedgehog (more specificly the one that proc extra gathering materials), by just playing the game, either on the pearl shop in some event package or any other kind of event?

I would love to tell you that it is a sure thing...but unfortunately I am not currently aware of any plans to have that happen.
I would however tell you to make a suggestion (in the Suggestions Section), about making a special Pet event (utilizing the NPC's offering Pets for Tokens), where players could get said Hedgehog Pet. Who knows it might happen

 

New players like me cant get him if they wont spend 10-200$ cause of critter box 5% chance of getting him ... cmon old players got him just by playing and we have to spend tons of money ? It discouraged me from playing cause i like to gather but when i know that i lose 50% of profit because i started playing now not earlier ...
I would even buy it from webshop but not from rng box with 5% chance to get him cmon ...

Pick and choose, but there is still about 40% to get a Hedgehog. You can always exchange your Pets for a higher Tiered Pet, using a Gosphy you can upgrade any Pet. Read this for more information on Pets: https://grumpygreen.cricket/bdo-pet-guide/
