Windows XP questions

Hi guys, to start, i wanna ask, what i have to do first? My brother has the game updated and running normally on his PC, he have windows 7 and he can run it with no problem, but now, that you guys fix the windows XP patch, i would like to know, i have to copy the game from my brother's PC and patch it? or i should download a older version and then patch it??

If you are using Windows XP and have Aion already installed on that PC just update the client though NCSofts Launcher.

Once your done with that, follow the Windows XP Fix and do not use the GamezAion Launcher.

Seeing how his computer is windows 7 and he has been using the GA Launcher (which will automatically update the game for Windows 7) you would need to have a clean windows XP installation.

 

Generally Aion doesn't function without its internal thingies in the Windows registry. A plain file-copy *shouldn't* work. Though there was one thing you could do with the old NCSoft launcher, add your game folder as an existing game in it and it would add those needed values to the registry so that the game would run.

Try copying the files to your PC and then install the NCsoft launcher. See if it recognizes your game, if it does it should run smoothly.

Edit: Did I understand correctly that there are 2 PCs, one on W7 and one on XP?

Ahhh , but, i dont have the windows XP copy on my PC, i have delete it when the 4.0 for windows 7 came up
Any ideas what more can i do? I reallyy love play aion and i want to play it on my PC
Is there any possibility to download it from anywhere?
