As much as this may be, it is still unfair to players, so regardless of whose fault it is, keep in mind what I said above.

 

I don't mind using chain of suffering on me. I got 4 dispels.
But since this is the topic, the reason why I quit cleric coz I used CoS on someone, and I got a warning. I don't want to go to jail or get banned either. Just keep this as a reminder to all of those clerics out there, especially the dps types.

 

you can always just not put it on your skill bar and play cleric. problem solved.

You guys do realize COS is one of the most important skill a cleric has as it lowers people's MR. Clerics don't have that many dps skills as it is, not being able to use that is just unfair for clerics too. This issue has been going on for quiet some time now, if it mattered that much to anyone that bug should have been fixed a long time ago and banning people for using their skill is just unjustifiable. There are a lot of classes who also have skills that are bugged. If bugged skills are bannable, then every class would be banned on a server which are full of bugs. My suggestion to those who are complaining, use dispel, GHP and try not to die. Maybe your shit play style is to blame not the skill.

You're an sm. You have no right to complain about anything. Specially because the class you play has many advantages over any other class. The problem is, you suck at it. Maybe learn to play your class better instead of complaining about other classes?

 

Whenever my team receives COS, I try give dispel a perfect time but, people who do not have a cleric in his team must learn to bring this " bug" (misnamed bug) I mean you try to stay alive before dying and being left out of BOG. No sense to say "Please remove the Skill bug i totally hate it ... grrrrrrr ... "(@DeadMau5 ) is incoherent XD. Like I say "I hate Freestyle of the SW" and I ask to remove that skill for SW because I'm at a disadvantage to Freestyle or as Fear from SM and I ask to remove the Fear of SM because I'm at a disadvantage XD (I speak in general not only BOG).
I put my enemies COS in BOG ( without I know that is punishable ) but I'm advised that this is punished and did no more. Even in BOG some cleric elys put to me COS and I'm not crying. You should know how to stay alive like to me as cleric trying to resist attack, like to all class who try to still alive in front of SW, SM, SORC, SIN(about their hides) etc.

I don't recall anyone has ever got banned for using the skill other than being given a warning or two from our AM's, explaining how not nice it is to use it on your enemy either in a GvG or a BoG where it's obvious the player won't be able to come back to you. While I understand the part where some of you say, "the bug has been up for a long time without a fix", but you should also consider the rest of the players who get ported out on a daily basis purposely from those battlegrounds, and sadly not only because "the cleric had no other skill to use" (this is still a full stigma server, we have enough skills), but because some of them just take it to a next level and want an easy win for their team. Let me also point out that it does not mean every cleric uses it for that reason but sadly some takes advantage of this bug here and then, and that's a fact.
As long as the admins don't fix this issue, the least thing our SAM/AM's can do is letting those clerics know how unsporty it is to use the skill on their enemies in those places knowing they won't have a chance to fight back against them once they are ported out, and let's be honest why you would still stick to a bugged skill knowing it can make the PvP less enjoyable even for yourself. We have all been waiting for a fix for this issue and our SAM/AM's do their best what they can in their given circumstances which is simply warning those players who use the skill for pure joy not just once.
