XP user for 2.0 item pack.

You're wrong. And I know it's the weekend and I'm in no hurry for them to update their edited file. But when they do, then I'm not gonna say I told you so because you're already gonna know you're wrong about them not updating their broken edited file. And if it's a systems requirement mismatch, and they don't update the file, then that's fine, I'll play on NCsoft itempak file. Upload what screenie? The sendlog crash dialog screenie?

Please refrain from anymore comments like this (or the one below). Keep in mind that POSTER is not sitting at the computer of the person who is having this problem therefore we cannot be entirely sure what is being seen on the screen.

And He is right. 9 time out of 10 it is human error. Its a fact based on statistics. He wasn't being insulting,or saying that you are dumb, Just pointing out a fact.

Everyone is having issues with getting the items pak to work on xp. With screenshots provided it helps a whole lot easier as we can visualize what's being seen.

This is not a contest of who's right or who's wrong. Stop making it out to be. Everyone's doing the best they can at helping everyone around with the problems there facing so please. Do your self a favor and calm down a bit as the thread is stating a time of help, not a time of " you're wrong."

 

mine is not working either.just installed the EU 2.0 client,and updated to 2.0.0.4 ofc,but its not working.can't put items to account WH.here's my AionEU & items folder

Your directory is fine, your item.pak file size is spot on.

I has messaged Alente in case there is some kind of XP coding issue.


Your on 2.0.0.4 with the latest Gamez Launcher yes?
Did you put the npc.pak in there too?

ofc i put the npc too.it has 1251kb
i extracted the files in desktop 1st then copy/paste them

 

I did the same i'm tired how many times i replaced the files and after repair....And after repair tryed again and still the same sendlog ... We are NOT doing anything wrong ... it just doesn't work

 

Are you all editing the files with the launcher open or closed?

OK let me put this in the simplest terms possible. I don't like someone condescending on me. The guy is saying that's it's the user fault and it's absolutely false.

I don't care how many 9 out of 10 or 99 our of 100 or 999 one short of 1000 people don't know how to follow simple directions.

I have followed all the directions, so I can say unequivocally that I am not wrong and I am not at fault.

You're right it's not a matter of who the best computer jockey is, It's a principle of someone coming here saying someone is wrong when no one is wrong and the edited item.pak is wrong.

And as soon as I can figure out what directory he's talking about, I'll post up a screenie of it.

I mean I have the my computer directory, the my program files directory, the NCsoft directory, the Aion directory, the data directory, the USA and the Items directories, and the Items and NPC directories.

I'm not going to post them all but if you can be specific then I'll post a directory.

Anyway, how can the item.pak be 'wrong' when it works for me.

It works for like 99% of the server, so how can you tell me it is wrong?

It shouldn't matter what OS you are using because the file is being placed inside a folder which is located in a piece of software, NOT THE OS FILES.

Everyone else knows what i am talking about, they have posted the correct images for me to see, why can't you take some time to actually read instead of being a keyboard warrior and trying to say i am wrong.

I am sorry that my EU guide does not work for you, i really am as i would like my EU to work for an US(That's you) client.

I am willing to help you, but unless you calm down and actually give me something to work from then i cannot assist you.

So please upload the file directory of your item.pak + npc.pak

 

Post a screenshot of what you look at on your computer as you try to input these files in the Aion Folder> Data>USA .... As I said before. Unless your extremely detailed. No one can help you. Im reading as well and I can't put a visual of what is going on.

i have same folders as you except log,chat and the repair patches,since i haven't done any repair.and i copy/paste the files with closed client/launcher

 

What items are you trying to put in your WH?

Can i see a link of your 'Data' folder please.

Also, change your 'Items' and 'Npcs' folders to 'items' & 'npcs' instead.
I doubt that will do anything but i am just trying to keep a consistency.
