Some question about BD and Gamez

Hello everyone, I am a new player with zero experience in BD but I've just discovered this Server few days ago when BD was put free on Steam and I've been done some research on how much this game is good or is a grind fest, so I've heard that a lot of players from the original server decided to move here, and so I want to have more information about it.

First of all, as I've said I am a new player, but reading the server information it is mentioned that I should receive 80 Pearls every 30 mins of log in time, however I've spent already almost 3 hours of game time and I haven't received any single mail with the above Pearls. Any reason on why I haven't received any email with any Pearls? Did I miss something? (I am currently level 21 on a Seasonal server).

BD is a huge game, I was interested in this game mainly because of the graphic and the character creation, but also because I really like the action combat style that this game has, however I am missing the real purpose of this server (and don't get me wrong when I am saying that, I am purely noob here). BD is a farm/grind fest, and the reputation about this game is well known everywhere, but does it means that in this server the farm/grind activity is reduced? Is it easier to improve armor here or what I am missing here, other than increased multipliers for experience and such? Can somebody give me some few information on what is the current state of the game here, or perhaps can you point me to a specific thread where I can check such information by myself?

Last question before I go, I've mentioned that I am on a Seasonal server, and I've read that only 1 character can stay and take the bonuses of the Seasonal server, but how does it work when my character reach the max level on this server? It will be transferred over to the regular server or it will be kept on the Seasonal server forever?

About this particular part of your message; Games (in general) are meant to spend some time enjoying something. So it stands to reason that you are the one, who is in charge of what to spend your time doing, while online and gaming.

Lastly, I will gladly invite you into my Guild if that has some interest. The benefits of this are that you will have occasional company while online, and then you will have a treasure trove of game knowledge, at your disposal. Also when you have joined a guild, you will gain some bonuses that remain in effect, as long as you are a part of the guild

As for the Pearls, do you have any idea on why I haven't got any mail? Is because my account is still new, or do I need to do something else? As I've said I've spent already almost 3 hours of gameplay, but I haven't received any single mail with Pearls.

Pearls are not sent to your mail, but in what's called the "black spirit's safe", the keyboard shortcut for it is "B" by default iirc, but you can also open the safe from the UI button in the bottom right

 

Ah that was my mistake, I was reading the description on the Pearls Shop and I was looking at the mail, rather than checking the Black Spirit's Safe section. I have the Pearls now, issue solved (I still have so much to learn about this game). Thank you for the help
