Guide Best in Slot Armour and Weapons

This won't be a very in-depth guide, but many people have asked me about the best gear obtainable in the game. So here it is!
For demonstration purposes the class I will be presenting will be a Ranger.
This thread also may be useful to GMs to know which items are worth rewarding players with for events.
