Hello guys, i came back from not playing aion for 5-6 years, and i have a question/problem.
So, i just logged in, created a new char. When i'm in the game, pops up a lvl 9 quest i think, where you need to choose your class, in my case it was sorc or spiritmaster, so i picked sorc and i get lvl 65 with set etc. I know i'm missing something but isn't it pretty dumb, sorry for my language, that a new player insta get's lvl 65 without knowing anything about the game, i remember a lot of things but i'm speaking about other players. So my main question is, btw i know you can close that quest when it pops up, buy anyway, I just want to know is it worth to grind aion from lvl 1 again, cuz if i remeber correctly, 4-5 years ago they certainly didn't give you chance to get lvl 65 insta, i just want to know if it is the same aion as i remember, i'm not talking about set's, classes etc. pointless stuff. I would like to hear from some experienced player's.

I missed the grinding as well but as of now the server is more focus on doing PVPs specially battlegrounds. but if you think you wanna reminisce the old aion that WE used to know by all means you can grind for the level.

 

I agree on the pvp but aion has always been so technical in terms of pvp, YOU just have to know the skills, placement and everything, but if i get insta almost all skills (for instance, for gunner) then really u are useless, grinding wasn't always about lvling, but in every aspect, that's why aion was so huge.

I see your point, but it's your choice. I think the server wants players to level up fast so that they can go and PvP, since getting PvP gear is made easy.

i understand your point specially the learning process of the skills.. you'll be able to master your class through grinding. but hey they provided option for the lazy one xDD
