bit defender has that issue where it doesn't trust you just like Norton and McAfee where the only way to turn it off is to actually uninstall it. McAfee is a real headache when it comes to gaming on private servers because it'll keep turning itself back on to delete files and you wouldn't even notice until you click it and it says "btw we quarantined these files, you're welcome" Bit Defender is kind of in the same boat. it'll be blocking things even when you tell it not to or delete stuff you recover and turn itself on when you're not looking.

No, you're right. I have not read any manuals, licenses or how to use Bitdefender since it was given to me and I was just told to install it (btw, I'm pretty sure lots of people don't even bother reading half of these manuals etc and Ik people should regardless whether majority or not do it but again, tis a joke at this point because so many don't bother reading them, including myself.) because I use to play without a anti-virus due to previous experiences that made me just hate using them in the end. I know they are essential or good to have on a PC, hence why I even have this one.
I would be incredibly happy if this is the case.
So, I will let you know.

and yes, I thought I could just disable such software by on and off because I thought there was some level of trust. I never saw anything being done with it off, no warnings, no logs or additional things blocked so I thought it was off.
When turning it back on, it starts doing things so I never thought anything of it.

Thanks Hyper for putting it a bit nicely, I'm aware anti-viruses do that. Even Norton (as crappy-crappo) as it is, it just never occurred to me that Bitdefender does that since I've had it for awhile and I played many games that many many anti-viruses would block or not allow me to play but I was still able to.

    Again, thanks for your patience.
Been tough these past weeks for me so I really appreciate the on-going help and patience.

P.S. It indeed works however I hope in the future this issue can be fixed by whoever party can do so, Bitdefender or Gamez because having to uninstall your anti-virus just to get this game to work is a bit alarming and also because its such a hassle to continuously uninstall when you want to play and reinstall any other time you aren't. (This is what I'm thinking I'd have to start doing, however if there is a way to stop Bitdefender from doing this and with it installed, let me know)

Anyway, I am very happy AND GRATEFUL (again thank you) that it works, thank you Kolka and everyone here who has been trying to help out and in the end we got it, so thank you~ <3

I am SO happy that you finally got the right help and answers, I can however warmly recommend using Windows Security in Win10 since it does its job quite well nowadays, not like back in the days with earlier versions where you indeed needed to install a third-party anti-virus.

    So to conclude the thread:
    1. McAfee / BitDefender / Norton - Anti-Viruses are in conflict with Smartguard/GamezBD, so if you are having trouble, try uninstalling them and see if it helps.
    2. Use Windows Security instead, it will do the job.
